GUIDANCE NOTES

A place on a Course or Event is offered on the basis of one handler training one dog. Neither of the places can be transferred. Training fees are payable in advance and are non refundable in the event of absence.

Handlers undertake to ensure that any dog being brought to the venue has been vaccinated or homoeopathically protected against distemper, viral hepatitis, leptospirosis and parvovirus.

Handlers must not attend training with a bitch in season, nor any dog which is suffering from (or has been in contact with) a contagious disease, within three weeks of that event.

Handlers accept that training at Berkshire Dog Training is undertaken at their own risk and that the conduct of their dog remains their responsibility at all times.

Spectators are welcome (unless for an Event where paid Spectator agility training is stipulated) however they must not interfere with the training.

Whilst every reasonable care will be taken to ensure the safety of dogs, handlers, spectators and personal possessions whilst on the training venue, Berkshire Dog Training and any individual associated with the organisation accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury to dogs, persons or property, howsoever caused.

Please park sensibly and respect the privacy of the property owners. Do not leave any litter behind (including poo bags) when you leave.

Non-compliance with the Guidance Notes may result in your expulsion from a Course or Event.

  • Acceptance of our services is deemed acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and payment can be made by Paypal, cash or bank transfer to the following Halifax account: Ac# 00984785 Sort code 11-00-33. Invoices are available on request.
  • We reserve the right to exclude you and your dog if he/she shows signs of aggression to people or other dogs, if you are abusive to others on the Course or Event, or if we deem your behaviour towards your dog to be irresponsible or negligent.
  • We will not be liable for any damage or injury caused by you or your dog(s) excepting Third Party where proven; please ensure that you have pet insurance or are able to agreement to pay our fees. Payment is due in full to ensure your place on a Course or indemnify against any such claims.
  • We cannot be held liable for any injury/illness to your pet or yourself unless we can be shown to be negligent.
  • We will not be liable for any damage to your vehicle or loss from your vehicle whilst it is parked at the training venue.
  • Berkshire Dog Training is fully insured for public liability claims by Shield Total Insurance. A copy of this certificate is available upon request.
  • We reserve the right to deny or terminate service because of safety or financial concerns.

  • You have a right to cancel your order within a seven day cooling-off period - unless the services booked falls within the cooling off period.
  • You have a right to have goods or services provided within 30 days after the order was sent, unless otherwise agreed.
  • To cancel your purchase within the seven day cooling-off period, please email berkshiredogtraining@outlook.com giving the reason for the cancellation. As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation, we will refund the cost for that booking.
  • Please note that outwith the statutory seven day cooling-off period, we operate a no refund policy for all bookings. If you are unable to attend any Course or Event, please inform us as soon as possible.
